Creating Fractions out of Groups Game is a fast, hands-on fraction game where students build visual fraction models by creating their own groups of objects. In each round, the game gives a target fraction (like 3/5) and a target object (cats, stars, apples, cars, and more). Players drag and drop as many items as they want into a “group” and must make sure the target object represents exactly the given fraction of the total set.

The challenge adds a strategic twist: the total number of objects must work with the denominator (for example, the total must be divisible by 5 to make fifths). Correct solutions earn points, trigger fun sound effects, and immediately launch a new fraction-and-object prompt. The game runs as a 2-minute timed score attack, tracks high scores (with Firebase support when available), and works smoothly on both desktop drag-and-drop and mobile touch controls—making fraction reasoning active, visual, and game-like.
