Can your students find the numbered patterns?  Students will be exposed to input-output tables, addition and subtraction patterns, and one multiplication table pattern.

In this 3rd through 10th-grade lab, students will observe the formation of salt crystals. Students will also add food coloring to their dissolved salt solution to demonstrate how chemical impurities can change a mineral's color. If you have enough students doing the lab your class will get to see many different results. In this worksheet, students will tell the time by analyzing clock faces as well as drawing clock faces for digital time.  There are nine clocks.  There is also one multiplication review word problem question.

In this reading activity designed for 3rd graders, students will read a couple of paragraphs with 19 missing words.  Students have a word list they get to choose from to fill in the blanks in order to make the sentences sound good and be accurate.  Many of the words come from Saxon Phonics lesson 6 for 3rd grade.

The reading centers around being careful around strangers and the danger there is when talking to them.

Students will find the product using the distributive property.  There are also 4 questions that review the identity property, the zero property, the commutative property, and the associative property.

In this 3rd-grade math activity, students will use three colors and design a pattern in a 5 x 5 grid.  They will then determine the fractions of each color.  At the bottom of the sheet, students will find fractions from a group of animals and flying machines.

In this 3rd-grade math worksheet, students will compare 9 fractions using <,>, and =.  They will color in 6 fraction bars.  Finally, students will place 5 fractions on a number line.  Some of these fractions have different denominators.

Dirt Bike Comparing Fractions is a multiplayer math game that allows students from anywhere in the world to play tug of war with each other while practicing comparing fractions! Students can compete against each other.

This is a fun activity where students get a bowl of Fruit Loops and then count them up and sort them by color.  Then they have to compare the numbers of each color with each other.
